My eternal dilemma...

My eternal dilemma is between my strong belief that all people are entitled to their opinions and my strong desire to slap people that are so closed mentally that they cannot see the logic in an argument that is contrary to their often backward opinions. Even I can admit when my opinions have been based on poor logic or a simple lack of information. Ditch the ego and open your mind to learning from others.

It's weird isn't it?  Most people think, "Well, everyone is entitled to their beliefs" when sometimes you just want to choke those beliefs down the ignorant people's THROATS!  If it has to do with your religion, fine, that's okay with me.  But if you're just doing it 'BECAUSE' without any evidence or reason to do so, then I'd like to see you burn...

That's my rant of the day ^^

Of course, everyone has a different opinion of what's considered close-minded.

Being closed minded does not have anything to do with opinions.  It's the ability to accept others opinions.  For example, someone unwilling to budge on their opinion and insisting that everyone else is dead wrong is closed minded.  Unless you're still 3 years old, not everything is seperated into black and white.  There's always a grey area.
