An Epic Adventure!

Ok, folks, this is it, a poem of epic proportions, created by...ME! It's incomplete, so I shall continue to add to it throughout.  Feel free to comment!

The leaves on the caragana bush,

Shivered as red rain tiptoed off them,

Drip, drip, dripping,

Into a chaos reflecting pool

Of water stained with artificial mud.

Dulling the images,

That everyone need see.

Crashing down the sky above him,

To the cement beneath his feet,

Where grass once grew,

And where flowers once flourished,

Fed by a caring sun.

Oh! To feel the sun warm again,

On his back bare and honest as life,

To see the radiant orb above,

Cluttered naught by man-made mists

That veiled naught but grey skies,

That reflected in the chaos pool,

The stained chaos pool of life,

The artificial pool of life,

The chaotic pool of lies.

He searched the depths,

Searched yet again, to find

A glimmer of light,

A glimpse of love,

In the pool of chaotic times,

Chaotic lives to live,

The pool of cold, chaotic,

Artificial mud.

Cold as he immersed into it his

Face with dark eyes longing

To see what was needed,

To put his soul at ease.

Beyond the cold chaos,

That dwelled in the pool

Of cold, chaotic,

Artificial mud.

Cold as his face but

Grazed its surface of stone,

Only to pull his being

Into an eternal void,

Where his soul cried out.

His hair plastered back and over his face,

Hard as the concrete that

Surrounded the swirling vortex;

The void, the pool,

Of chaotic, artificial mud.

He made attempts to swim through

The murk that was

The artificial mud,

With each struggling stroke,

Each muscular motion of forward propulsion,

He sank farther into the depths.

Blackness met him at every turn

That he failed to make,

His lungs burned from

Being deprived from

The putrid misty air of

The surface above him;

The unreachable surface,

That he now longed for.

He closed his eyes against the mud,

And began to allow his soul to slip,

Away from the body he knew,

At that he sighted a glimmer

Of pure white light.

His eyes snapped open,

Light shone through

Eyes made to be windows

Into a soul radiating life,

A soul that shone through

The murk of a

Reality of artificial mud.

The brilliance of that disturbance of air,

The purity that surrounded his body,

Moved him onward;

Towards a minute spot of light,

In the distant blackness.

With burning of lungs lessoning,

Heart opening towards the

Light in the distance,

Beating once again a steady

Rhythm throughout the void.

As each beat grew in strength,

The light grew closer to

Him and his spirit cleared,

Once again to be

Strong within him, and

To be at ease,

With his body and mind.

Silhouetted against the rim

Of blinding white light,

Standing upon a marble

Stair on the edge of chaos,

Watching the glowing figure

That was flowing through

The debris of her universe,

On but a cloud of light,

That blinded even her.

She gazed in awe out

Into the blackness,

Wondering if the figure

Was an angel come

To save souls from

The destruction of themselves

Alright, here's my love poem:

Love Is ...

Love is the greatest feeling,
Love is like a play,
Love is what I feel for you,
Each and every day,
Love is like a smile,
Love is like a song,
Love is a great emotion,
That keeps us going strong,
I love you with my heart,
My body and my soul,
I love the way I keep loving,
Like a love I can't control,
So remember when your eyes meet mine,
I love you with all my heart,
And I have poured my entire soul into you,
Right from the very start.
